Megan Daniel

As Executive Director, Megan leads program development and operation and oversees strategic and administrative responsibilities to ensure the execution of the Partnership’s mission.

 

Megan joined the Partnership as an intern during her senior year at Roger Williams University, during which her interest in public health and passion for helping others began to rapidly grow. She has since spent her time carefully learning about the Rhode Island cancer community and how the Partnership, its members, and partners can successfully reduce the burden of cancer among its residents.​

Sarah Gingrich

Coalition Coordinator/PSE Specialist

As the Coalition Coordinator/ PSE Specialist, Sarah works closely with the Executive Director and Comprehensive Cancer Control Program Director at the RI Department of health to establish program goals, work plans, and timelines. She is responsible for member recruitment and engagement, and policy, system, and environmental change (PSE) strategy implementation.

​

Sarah has been with the Partnership since January 2024. She received a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. During her undergrad, she interned with a non-profit that provided free healthcare to the underserved populations in central Pennsylvania. Since then, Sarah has gained a passion for public health and collaborating with other individuals to provide resources and equitable healthcare to all community members.

Susan Hartman

Media and Communications Consultant

As the Media and Communications Consultant to the Partnership, Susan manages the organization's  media presence and finds effective ways to communicate our programs and mission with the public, crafting campaigns that promote engagement with stakeholders and various community members.    

 

Susan has extensive experience in developing marketing and messaging programs having worked in corporate roles for over 30 years while also sitting on the board of a community non-profit for 20 years.  She now brings that experience to the Partnership with the keen interest in supporting efforts to broaden awareness and education around cancer prevention and survivorship.  As a recent survivor of cancer herself, Susan acutely understands the impact this has on an individual's life and that of their caregivers.  Susan has her BA from Drew University and an MBA from Simmons College.
