The Partnership's
Tiny Art Project
The Partnership's Tiny Art Project grew from an idea of one of our founding members. This member participated in a similar project at her local library, where members created artwork that was put on display. The Partnership adopted this idea as a way for cancer patients, their family, and staff to express their emotions and provide a therapeutic release.
The Partnership distributed art kits for patients, survivors, caregivers and staff at Women & Infants Hospital Program in Women's Oncology, Roger Williams Cancer Center, Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center and Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Center. We received more than 30 completed canvases, 13 of which were featured in the Partnership's first ever 2023 calendar. All of the canvases were displayed at the 2022 RI Cancer Summit on October 12.
